On 30 November 2020, an online meeting took place between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinzoda and the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Ms. Wendy Morton.
The parties expressed interest in developing bilateral relations in political, economic and humanitarian fields. During the meeting, the issues of joint efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and mitigating the impacts of climate change were also discussed.
The interlocutors stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation within the framework of international organizations and financial institutions.
