On March 2, 2021, the Ambassador of Tajikistan Masud Khalifazoda met with the President of the National Ismaili Council in the United Kingdom Naushad Nivraj.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the good cooperation of Tajikistan with the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) in the fields of economy, energy, health, education, culture and important events in 2021.
On February 26, 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan Masud Khalifazoda gave a talk at the Cambridge Central Asia Forum Seminar Series under the title – “Current Developments and Priorities. Updates from Tajikistan”.
In his speech, the Ambassador of Tajikistan provided the participants with the information about the strategic goals of the Republic, about the current situation in Tajikistan during the pandemic, about bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Kingdom as well as the plans of the Embassy for this year.
Moreover, the achievements of Tajikistan during the years of independence in the fields of energy, industry, agriculture, environment, science and education have been discussed at the seminar.
The event was attended by more than 90 participants, including representatives of the UK government agencies, international organizations, representatives of educational institutions, research platforms, scholars and students.
On February 16, 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan Masud Khalifazoda took part and gave a speech at the meeting dedicated to the investment opportunities of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In his speech, the Ambassador of Tajikistan provided the participants with the information about the current situation in Tajikistan during the pandemic, about bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Kingdom as well as investment opportunities in the country in various economic areas, including mining, transport, banking, agriculture, energy, environment and others.
The event was attended by representatives of the UK business and investment community.
