Wreath laying ceremony in honor of Victory Day

On 9 May 2017 Day of Victory in WWII was traditionally commemorated in London with wreath laying ceremony at the Soviet War Memorial near the Imperial War Museum.

The ceremony was attended by veterans from Britain, Europe and the post-Soviet countries, heads of diplomatic missions of CIS countries, representatives of UK authorities. Charge d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Tajikistan to the UK Mr Asliddin Rakhmatov laid a wreath at the monument on behalf of Tajikistan.

A minute of silence was declared in memory of the victims of the war.

Following the ceremony guests and visitors were offered to taste national dishes of CIS countries.
