The meeting aimed to discuss the development of potential cooperation with the UK travel agencies and share information on recent news and improvements in development of tourism sector in Tajikistan. It was attended by representatives of the UK tour operators, business and media.
Participants highlighted increasing value of tourism in Tajikistan in the light of recent launch of E-VISA system in the country, also acknowledging the growth of services and potential of private travel organisations including small and medium-size enterprises.
The information on the program of development of tourism in Tajikistan for 2017 which was announced in the country as a Year of Sustainable Tourism has been shared among representatives of UK travel companies.
The Embassy will continue its efforts to ensure reliable connection and cooperation between national travel industry and the UK travel companies interested in Tajikistan.
